Water is a important to stay hydrated! Adequate hydration burns 3% more calories daily, helps muscles and joints work properly, and keeps energy levels high.

To stay hydrated, aim for 4-6oz per hour or 64oz a day.  Try lemon, lime, mint, or fruit slices in your water for a refreshing beverage. You may use calorie-free flavored water such as Crystal Light.

Stay Hydrated – Don’t Drink Alcohol

Avoid alcohol and minimize regular coffee and tea, as these are dehydrating. Decaffeinated tea and coffee are acceptable beverages. The more caffeine you drink, the more dehydrated you will become and this does not treat your body well and you will not feel well. Not to mention drinks like alcohol and caffeine usually are high in calories.
